Calabar City Church Lead Pastor Loses Wife

Calabar, Cross River State – The Lead Pastor of City Church, Calabar, Pastor Tony Aleogena, has lost his wife, Mrs Temi Aleogena-Raphael (Mummy T), to the cold hand of death.

Converseer gathered that Mummy T died on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

Though the cause of her death is not revealed, the Church, however, announced the death of Mummy Temi as she also called on Wednesday.

“With heavy hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of our dear mother, Mrs Temi Aleogena-Raphael (Mummy T).

“A beacon of love, kindness, and joy, she touched countless lives with her warmth and wisdom.

“She was a gift to us all—a mother to many, a friend to all, and a tireless prayer warrior who carried each of us in her heart. Her lively spirit, gentle smile, and words of encouragement brought light to our darkest days. She had a unique way of making everyone feel seen, loved, and valued, and her laughter was a melody that filled our hearts with joy.

“Though we will miss her dearly, we choose to honour her legacy by celebrating the life she lived so fully.

“Today, we do not just mourn her passing; we celebrate a life well lived—a life of purpose, devotion, and endless love.

“Rest well, our beloved Mummy T, your legacy of grace, strength, and unwavering love will continue to inspire us all,” the City Church Calabar, in a message made available to Converseer and also shared on the Church’s Facebook page said.

Also, The Lead Team, City Church Calabar, in an announcement said: “With so much heaviness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our Pastor’s dear wife, and our Mother-in-Christ, Mrs Temi Aleogena-Rapheal.

“Her passing leaves a profound vacuum in our hearts and the lives of the immediate members of her family.

“We covet the prayers of the friends of the church for our beloved Pastor and his family, as we request that the family’s privacy be respected in this difficult time.”
