The recent piece by Omini Oden, riddled with unfounded allegations, is a desperate attempt to tarnish the image of a leader who has consistently prioritized the welfare of the people over petty politics. This calculated attack underscores the lengths to which detractors will go to distract from the real issues of development and progress in Cross River State.

Hon. Oden Ewa’s track record of inclusivity and effective leadership speaks volumes. As the Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, he has been instrumental in fostering intergovernmental collaborations, attracting investments, and ensuring equitable distribution of development projects. The accusation of clannishness and arrogance is not only baseless but also a clear distortion of facts. Hon. The Agoi experience and the scholarship to 150 beneficiaries will be a testament to this. The insinuation that he orchestrates smear campaigns is not only false but a weak distraction from substantive issues.
