BREAKING: Celebration Erupts in Ekweremadu’s Hometown as Wife Beatrice Returns from UK Prison

Beatrice Ekweremadu, the wife of former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, has been released from a United Kingdom prison.

SaharaReporters learnt that Mrs. Ekweremadu arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday, and is currently in Abuja.

 

SaharaReporters learnt that there is currently jubilation in Ekweremadu’s home town, Mpu, following the return of Beatrice.

 

Her husband, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, is still serving his 10-year prison sentence in the UK for his involvement in a highly publicized organ harvesting case.

 

The couple, along with Dr. Obinna Obeta, were convicted for their roles in the case, which sparked widespread attention and debate in Nigeria.
