Super Eagles duo of Joe Aribo and Paul Onuachu were on target for Southampton as they sealed a dramatic victory over fellow Premier League Strugglers Ipswich Town.
The game played on Saturday at Portman Road saw Southampton secure their first Premier League victory since November.
While Saints remain anchored to the bottom of the table with just nine points from 24 games, their win also arrests a run of six consecutive top-flight defeats.
Southampton have dropped 20 points from winning positions during a dismal campaign.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah scored a brace for Liverpool in their 2-0 victory over Bournemouth.
