Nigerian streethop singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known in music circles as Portable has lamented a proposed move by the Ogun State government to close his bar and hotel.
The artist posted pictures of the bar on Instagram along with a letter he received from the government, stating that authorities gave grounds including insufficient airspace and improper development approval for the upcoming shutdown.
Portable also revealed that over 20 individuals, including artists and customers, were arrested and had their cars, motorcycles, and phones seized at his bar and hotel.
He pleaded with the Ogun State government not to go ahead with plans to shut down his business as he is using it to book events, shows and also promoting young musicians.
