National Bank Shifts More Transactions from Counters to Digital Platforms

National Bank of Greece is moving cash withdrawals and money transfers below 900 euros, as well as cash deposits or bill payments for amounts under €2,000, away from branch counters, mandatorily transferring these categories of transactions to digital networks.

Cash withdrawals for amounts under €900 will only be made via ATMs, cash deposits for amounts less than €2,000 will be made via ATM or APS, bill payments for amounts below €2,000 will be made via digital banking, ATM or APS, and transfers of amounts within NBG accounts for amounts less than €900 will be made via digital banking or ATM.
