Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and French President Emmanuel Macron held a meeting in Paris on Monday on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit, hosted in the French capital.
According to sources, during their one-hour private meeting, the two leaders discussed bilateral and European issues.
Mitsotakis and Macron discussed defense matters, agreeing on the necessity of increased fiscal flexibility for EU member states looking to strengthen their defense capabilities.
They also held talks on European competitiveness, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence.
