Born into the family of Mr Adoga Raphael Morphy and Mrs Anthonia Omgbonya Morphy in Ishibori in Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State over four decades ago, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State in charge of the Department of Projects/Programmes, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPPME), Adoga Raphael Morphy Jnr, remains a friend to all, except for those who don’t want to be friends with him.
Mr Morphy Jnr is a trailblazer, a goal-getter, an adventurer, a torchbearer in many ways and an astute model politician.
Adoga Raphael Morphy Jnr attended Saint Benedict 1 Primary School, Igoli -Ogoja, and proceeded to Maryknoll College, Okuku – Yala where he acquired his primary and secondary education respectively. He got admitted into the prestigious University of Calabar and studied Geology and passed out successfully with Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) certificate. He later regained another admission and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Business Management from the same institution.

A one-time Special Assistant to the Honourable Commissioner for Works in Cross River State, Mr Legor Idagbo, and then aspirant in the 2013 local government election for the Ogoja Council Chairmanship race. Mr Adoga Raphael Morphy Jnr, who is now the Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, earlier served as Senior Special Assistant on Job Placement in the immediate past Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Professor Benedict Ayade’s administration. He was also the Chairman of the Waterfront Board and former Managing Director (MD) of Divinity Logistics and Transport Services Limited, among other ventures.

Morphy Jnr was appointed Senior Prefect (SP) back then in his teenage in the prestigious Maryknoll College, Okuku-Yala, during the leadership of late Monsignor Odey Patrick Idiku as Principal of the School in the 1995/96 academic session.
Mr Adoga has undergone different training and capacity building in different locations of the world. He attended capacity building in leadership and good governance at Sunkunyong University in South Korea, capacity building in leadership at Coconut Grove in Cape Coast, Ghana, capacity building in Business and Leadership in Durban, South Africa and World Travel Market (WTM) in Sun City, also in South Africa.

A very social and sserious-minded fellow, Mr Adoga,as fhe ondly called by his closets, has travelled far and wide. He has led so many serious-minded groups in different capacities, such as Chairman, President, Coordinator, Senior Prefect, Secretary, etc.
He’s a great sports lover and more active in the game of football and boxing.
Mr Adoga Raphael Morphy Jnr is happily married to his gorgeous and lovely wife Mrs Cleo Adoga – a great entrepreneur.

Mr Raphael Adoga is indeed a jolly good fellow. Today, the world is standing still for a servant of God is born again. Hallelujah to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who strengthens and energising him.
