Ogoja, Cross River State – In a recent display of solidarity and commitment to regional development, former Governor Ben Ayade (CON), has sent a heartfelt goodwill message to the Northern Cross River Coalition (NORTHCO).
The coalition, which stands as the apex and umbrella body for the socio-political groups representing the Northern Senatorial District’s five local governments, is set to benefit from the former governor’s extensive experience and influence.
During the address, former Governor Ayade pledged his unwavering support to the initiative aimed at fostering unity, progress, and advancement across the Northern Senatorial District.
“I am committed to doing everything possible at my disposal to help make Northern Cross River State stronger and more united,” he asserted, emphasising the need for a consolidated effort in driving development in the region.
The message of support was conveyed to the coalition’s members by its leader, High Chief Higgins Peters, who expressed gratitude on behalf of NORTHCO.
“The goodwill extended by His Excellency, Senator Professor Ben Ayade is not just a symbolic gesture but a genuine commitment to the progress of our communities,” Peters noted.
