Zelenskiy Not Ready for Peace - Trump

Washington, D.C. – United States President Donald J Trump has disclosed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not ready for peace.

Trump stated this on his verified TruthSocial account which he also shared on his X account shortly after meeting with Zelenskyy at the White House on Friday.

The 47th U.S. President who said he wants lasting peace in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, said, “We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure.

“It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE.

“He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace,” Trump’s social media post said.

During the meeting, Trump told Zelenskyy that former President Barack Obama gave him sheets while he provided an alternative, which was javelins.

“…that was with Obama who gave you sheets and I gave you javelins. I gave you the javelins to take out all those tanks. Obama gave you sheets.

“In fact, the statement is, Obama gave sheets and Trump gave javelins. You’ve got to be more thankful, because let me tell you, you don’t have the cards.

“With us, you have the cards, but without us, you don’t have any cards,” Trump said.

In his response, President Zelenskyy in a social media post said, “Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you @POTUS, Congress, and the American people.

“Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.”

Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you @POTUS, Congress, and the American people.
Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.
