Nigerian Airstrike Takes Out Terrorist Leaders and 20 Others

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully taken down over 20 armed criminals in a targeted airstrike along the Funtua-Gusau road in Katsina State.

The operation was launched after credible intelligence confirmed the presence of notorious gang leaders and their members in the area.

According to Kabiru Ali, NAF’s Deputy Director of Public Relations, the airstrikes destroyed fortified camps belonging to two key figures, Gero (Alhaji) and Alhaji Riga, who were known for orchestrating violent ambushes along the route.

Additional casualties were reported in the surrounding hills, weakening the influence of these criminal networks.

The elimination of these high-profile individuals marks a significant victory in Nigeria’s ongoing security operations.

Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to restoring peace in the northwest and continuing efforts to combat criminal activities across the country.
