The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has urged the Super Eagles to secure maximum points in their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
The Super Eagles will face Rwanda’s Amavubi at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, before hosting Zimbabwe’s Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo next Tuesday.
Despite being three-time African champions, Nigeria is still searching for its first victory in Group C, having recorded three draws and one defeat in their first four matches.

The NFF has also called on Nigerians to rally behind the team.
“The executive committee charged the players to go all out for the six points in both matches to boost Nigeria’s qualification hopes,” reads a communique at the end of the NFF executive meeting.
“It also called on all Nigerians to support and encourage the team in whatever fair and proper way they are competent to, in order to guarantee victory in both matches.”
