A Nigerian man has gone viral on Facebook due to his post celebrating his 30th wedding anniversary.
In the post, the man berated his wife for never having pounded yam for him for once in their marriage, despite being a proper Ekiti woman who knows the importance of pounded yam.
He also spoke of how his wife endures his “side activities”.
He narrated how his wife handled things when one of his side pieces came to his house, demanding a room and saying she has a right to live there.
He further hailed her for “embracing and sponsoring” his daughter from a previous relationship. He added that his wife also welcomes the girl’s mother to stay at their house and they even share the same bed.
He spoke of how she also silently suffered abuse from his family member but didn’t retaliate and didn’t report to her family.
He narrated how she went the extra mile to be a dutiful wife even after his indiscretions.
He also revealed how she caught him red-handed “in the act of indiscretion” and when he held her leg, begging and saying someone must have laid a spell on him, she grabbed a bible and prayed for his deliverance.
He concluded by revealing that if he had married a different woman, he would be on his 5th or 6th wife but he has never been divorced because of what his wife tolerates.
His post has led people to sympathise with his wife while stating that the man is happy in the marriage while the woman is enduring it.
