‘Family Feud’ contestant Christopher Crisona charged with child s3xual abuse

Christopher Crisona, a former contestant on “Family Feud” during Steve Harvey’s first season as host, has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies related to child s3xual abuse.

Crisona and Father John Taggart were taken into custody over allegations of abuse at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Delaware Attorney General’s Office stated that Crisona was a teacher at the school for a year and a half in the mid-1990s before being removed from his position following a student complaint. The victim, who was in seventh and eighth grade at the time, was allegedly abused by both Crisona, now 57 and Taggart, now 80.

Crisona, who is currently working as an elementary school teacher in Florida, has been charged with unlawful s3xual contact, unlawful s3xual intercourse, unlawful sexual penetration, and continuous s3xual abuse of a child.

Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings described the case as one that “keeps us up at night” but also fuels a commitment to justice. She stated that the indictment alleges a “pattern of gravely serious abuse against a juvenile by two adults in a position of trust” and praised law enforcement officials involved in the investigation.

Crisona previously appeared on “Family Feud” in 2010 with his family, making it to the “Fast Money” round but falling just short of the $20,000 cash prize.

Attempts to reach those close to Crisona for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
