“The Labour Party Political Party (Operating with and under 2014 Constitution) is a “Constitutionally Registered” organisation. This makes it clearly responsible to the Nigerian People. Therefore, we the current Executives of the Party will not look on in “actionable negligence” while the Name of the Party is being “black-washed” due to Corruption, avarice, carelessness and recklessness of the past Executives.

“Consequentially, we have set up a Labour Party Special Investigations Panel (LP-SIP) to investigate the position of, actions related to, and recommendations relating to the finances of the Party, before, during and after the 2023 Elections,” the press release stated.
