A driver has been rescued after a car he was riding skidded off Otedola Bridge in Lagos this morning April 7.
The Lagos state Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, shared a video of the car after it had crashed. The agency said the driver was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Emergency workers, Federal Road Safety Corp personnel, Security agents and officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency LASTMA, were all at the scene of the accident that also left the car mangled.
Though the cause of the car plunging from the bridge down has not yet been ascertained, it may not be unconnected with excessive speeding and loss of control by the driver.
