SHORTLIST OF SUCCESSFUL FARMERS’ COOPERATIVES FOR THE SUBSIDISED MINI TRACTOR SCHEME

CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – The Government of Cross River State has released the list of successful farmers’ cooperatives for subsidised mini tractor scheme.
This was disclosed by a public service announcement on Tuesday, 19th August 2025, by Johnson Ebokpo, Commissioner for Agriculture and Irrigation Development.
“The Cross River State Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation Development wishes to notify all farmers cooperatives that applied for the Subsidised Mini Tractor Acquisition Scheme that the list of successful cooperatives has been released and is available at the Ministry Headquarters in Calabar.

“All shortlisted cooperatives are hereby advised to visit the Department of Agricultural Mechanisation and Irrigation, Ministry Headquarters, Calabar, to complete their documentation without delay,” the announcement read.
Ebokpo added that, The Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu-led administration remains fully committed to supporting farmers, enhancing mechanised farming, and boosting agricultural productivity in line with the People First Agenda.”
