Jihadists are taking children from their mothers to kill in Sudan

A Sudanese mother whose children were taken from her and killed by Jihadists

KHARTOUM (CONVERSEER) – A recent trend is growing in Sudan where Jihadists not only separate children from the arms of their mothers but also slaughter them in front of their mothers and make the women watch.

Those committing these crimes are not outside per se but Sudanese (though with the help of outsiders) who shout “Allah Akbar” after their heinous crimes.

A few hours ago, Refugees In Libya, a nonprofit and activist organisation, shared videos and photos of the crimes being committed in Sudan that have been left under the radar.

According to the group, they (killers) smiled at the children. They shook their little hands. They said, ‘Don’t be afraid.’ Then they killed them.

“The mother saw everything. Sudan, your killers come with smiles, your enemies pretend to love before they destroy.”

The group also stated that in the state of Sudan, “Children who have committed no crimes are bombed, shot, their limbs torn apart, their skulls fractured, their throats cut with thick knives in the name ‘Allah Akbar’ they shout.

“Their lives are cut short because the big men have decided to ‘invest’ in their lands. For these men, the boys don’t count—so neither do their lives, their dreams, their rights, or their humanity.

“Some call it complex religious indifference, but who are the Janjaweed? Black like the rest of us in Africa, they claim Arabness, an ideology that is inherently discriminatory.”

It accuses the Middle East of crimes against humanity in Sudan. “The Arabs in the UAE and Saudi Arabia have learned to instrumentalise this angle, and now we are nothing in our own country: the destruction is funded, armed, and carried out by our own.

“As for the world entirely, what is there to say on the silence and indifference or rather an alleged ‘helplessness’?”

There are several reports of armed men killing Sudanese in the field like a game sport.

Does it mean Sudanese lives, especially the poor, do not matter? We’re calling on the government to put an end to this inhumane act.
