ENUGU (CONVERSEER) – Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah has described the death of Senator Okey Ezea as a huge loss to the state and Nigeria.

In a statement, he personally signed, Governor Mbah says he received with a deep sense of loss, the passing of the senator, adding that, “this is one death that cuts really deep.”

According to him, Okey Ezea was resilient and had an unwavering commitment to his constituents and the nation, adding that in all his political struggles, one fact was evident: his love for the state and for good governance.

Governor Mbah prayed for the repose of his soul and conveyed his condolences to his family, the people of Enugu North senatorial district, and the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
