The aide to Rt. Hon. Alex Egbona, member representing Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency, Barr. Wekekayo Eteng Ekpe, PhD, has slumped and was rushed to the hospital.
Converseer learned that Barr. Ekpe slumped on Tuesday in an All Progressives Congress, APC event organised by Rt. Hon. Egbona in Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area.
The event which was held at the Multi-purpose hall of the Federal Polytechnic, Ugep, was to rally support for the reelection of Egbona who is seeking a third term in the Green Chambers.
Ekpe, a former Cross River State House of Assembly aspirant was in attendance when he slumped midway through the event and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital.
His condition remains unknown at the time of filing this report. We wish him a quick recovery.
