Nasarawa United captain King Osanga has declared the team’s readiness for the President Federation Cup semi-final clash against Ikorodu City, DAILY POST reports.
The encounter is slated for Wednesday (today) at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
The Solid Miners are targeting a place in the final of Nigeria’s oldest football competition for the third time.
Osanga reckoned that Ikorodu City will be a hard nut to crack but is confident his team will secure a place in the final.
“This is why we play football. Semi-finals of the FA Cup don’t come around every season. We respect our opponents because they have earned their place here, but the dressing room is united and hungry,” Osanga, a former Golden Eaglets winger, told the club’s media.
The winner of the President Federation Cup will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
