A welfare committee has been constituted by the National Sports Commission, NSC, and Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, for the Super Falcons ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.
The committee has been saddle with responsibility of ensuring a hitch-free campaign for the Super Falcons.
Aisha Falode, an executive board member of the NFF will chair the committee, while Ruth David will serve as secretary.
Other members of the committee are Rt. Hon. Margaret Icheen, Babagana Kalli, Emeka Iyama, Aderonke Tinuoye, and Tobechukwu Oluchi, a former Super Falcons media officer.
The Super Falcons have been drawn in Group C of WAFCON 2026 along with Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt.
Justine Madugu’s side will open their campaign against debutants Malawi at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, on Tuesday, 28 July.
The WAFCON 2026 finals will be staged in Morocco from 26 July to 16 August 2026.
The four semi-finalists will represent Africa at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
