The Director General of alleged fake government agency, the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) Adeniyi Adeyemi has reached out to activist, Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) to narrate his role and ordeal in the controversy around the agency.
Controversy had continued to trail the agency’s existence and the role of the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila in the saga.
Gbajabiamila continues to deny any knowledge of the agency or how it came to be, but Adeyemi insists he has not acted alone.
Adeyemi in the video call to VDM claimed he was confused as to why the presidency would tag the agency as fake, when it is mentioned in the nation’s budget.
He also claimed an attempt had been made on his life recently.
President Bola Tinubu has directed the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other related Offences Commission to launch a probe into the saga and report back in 30 days.
