Multichoice has raised the subscription price for DSTV and GOTV for subscribers in Nigeria.
According to a statement signed by Mr John Ugbe, Chief Executive Officer of Multichoice, on Wednesday, 24th April, the new prices will take effect from 1st May 2024.
The statement said the new price is due to the cost of business operations.
The letter titled “Price Adjustment on DStv and GOtv Packages”, read as follows:
“On Wednesday, 1st May 2024 we will adjust our prices across all our packages on DStv and GOtv.

“We understand the impact this change may have on you – our valued customer, but the rise in the cost of business operations, has led us to make this difficult decision.
“It remains our mission to provide the best entertainment and viewing experience to you and are committed to continue to deliver high-quality content and unparalleled service.
“So, from Wednesday, 1 May 2024, the price adjustment will take effect as follows:
“We thank you for your continued patronage and support,” the statement by Ugbe read.
