2026 FIFA World Cup awards: Full list of winners

The 2026 FIFA World Cup came to a close on Sunday with Spain clinching the much coveted cup with a hard earned 1-0 victory in the final match against Argentina at the Ney York Jersey Stadium.

La Roja lifted the World Cup trophy for the second time in their history, 16 years after their maiden triumph in South Africa in 2010.
The team also made history by becoming the first World Cup-winning team to concede only one goal throughout an entire tournament.

Argentina finished runners-up, while England claimed third place with a thrilling 6-4 victory over France in the bronze-medal match.

Several players were recognised for their outstanding performances throughout the month-long tournament.

Winner: Kylian Mbappe (France) -10 goals in eight matches. He becomes the first player in history to win the World Cup’s top scorer award at two consecutive tournaments. He also extended his record as the men’s all-time leading World Cup scorer with 22 career goals.

Simón also set a World Cup record of 650 consecutive minutes without conceding.
