Transfer: Arsenal to make Vinicius Jr highest-paid player in club’s history

Arsenal are very keen to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid and are ready to make him their highest-paid player ever.

According to the UK Telegraph, the Gunners are willing to improve on his current £400,000-a-week salary to maximize their chances of completing the deal.

Currently, Arsenal’s best-paid player is Bukayo Saka.

Saka takes home £300,000 a week after agreeing a new contract last season.

But the Premier League champions are ready to break that limit, in a bid to land Vinicius Jr this summer.

Vinicius Jr is locked in a contract impasse with Madrid, with one year left on his current deal.
