Car Dealer Shot Dead Outside Residence In Late-Night Attack At Tuba

A 50-year-old car dealer, Kwesi Rahman, has reportedly been shot dead in a late-night attack outside his residence at Beach Drive Estate near Tuba in the Ga South Municipality.

According to reports, Rahman and his wife had returned home from an evening walk at about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, when they were allegedly confronted by an unidentified gunman at the entrance to their residence.

The assailant reportedly opened fire on the couple, leaving Rahman with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His wife also sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the attack and is reportedly in critical condition.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, including the motive for the attack and whether the gunman acted alone.

The incident has reportedly left residents of Beach Drive Estate and surrounding communities concerned about security, particularly following the violent attack at a residential area.

The identity and whereabouts of the suspected gunman remain unknown. It is expected that the police will investigate the circumstances leading to the shooting and work to identify and apprehend those responsible.
