Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen may be close to a Premier League switch after
Tottenham Hotspur got the go-ahead to sign him this summer.
The Super Eagles ace has not hidden his interest in the English top flight, and that dream could materialise with Spurs, whose roaster currently lacks a true No. 9.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have already splashed £237million on new recruits and reportedly want a pointman to complete their summer activities.
Football journalist, Sacha Tavolieri of Sky Sports Switzerland revealed earlier this week that Gala are open to selling Osimhen for €65 million, a price tag that puts him in Spurs’ range.
De Zerbi also said in July that the club’s “target now is to complete the attacking positions”, emphasising “another couple of important players” would be pursued.
Osimhen, 27, has also attracted strong interest from Al Hilal.
However, that deal appears unlikely with Karim Benzema still leading the attack at the Saudi Pro League side, putting Spurs in pole position for the Nigerian striker.
