The Solid Minerals Development Fund (SMDF) has scheduled interactive sessions for applicants seeking grants under its EMERGE initiative.

The sessions, holding on Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21, in Abuja, will offer prospective beneficiaries guidance on eligibility, funding options, and the application process.

The first session, Exploration & Critical Minerals, will hold on Thursday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., while the second, Research & Development, will take place on Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The EMERGE team will also answer questions and clarify areas of concern to enable applicants to submit stronger applications.

SMDF urged individuals, researchers, innovators, and other eligible stakeholders to take advantage of the sessions before submitting their applications.

Applications remain open, with interested applicants directed to SMDF EMERGE Portal for details and submission.
