Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has claimed it would be difficult to squeeze Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior and Jude Bellingham into his starting 11.
Mourinho however insisted that the three stars are not “incompatible”.
Madrid begin their new LaLiga season with a trip to Espanyol on Saturday.
It would Mourinho’s first competitive game in his second stint as he seeks to end Barcelona’s run of back-to-back titles.
Los Blancos have gone two years without a major trophy since Mbappe joined as a free agent.
And after Vinícius Jr. signed a new contract, Mourinho must now build an attack around all three stars, including club record signing Yan Diomande.
“They’re incredible players,” Mourinho told reporters on Friday.
“But the tactical structure could be more difficult.
“[Carlo] Ancelotti found the perfect role for Vini with Brazil, [Didier] Deschamps found the perfect role for Kylian, and [Thomas] Tuchel found the perfect role for Jude [at the World Cup].
“But it’s harder to find the perfect role for all three. I have a lot of confidence that we’ll do well when all three play together. I don’t think they’re incompatible at all.”
