The Cross River State Police Command has commissioned and taken over a newly constructed and donated Police Outpost in Adim Community, Biase Local Government Area, Cross River State.

The facility was commissioned today, 22nd August 2026, by the Commissioner of Police, CP Ajo Geoffrey Ordue, on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force.

According to ASP Sunday Eitokpah, the Command’s spokesperson on Saturday, the Outpost was constructed and donated by a distinguished retired police officer and indigene of Adim Community, AIG (Rtd.) Dr Okon O. Effiong, PhD, as part of his commitment to strengthening security and community development.

Speaking at the ceremony, CP Ajo described the gesture as a remarkable demonstration of patriotism, community ownership and partnership with the Police.

The Commissioner noted that the facility would enhance police operations, improve service delivery and strengthen the protection of lives and property in Adim and neighbouring communities.

CP Ajo formally accepted the facility on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force and assured the donor that it would be put to responsible and judicious use.
