Four Young Ladies Caught Stealing Washed Clothes From Drying Lines In Wassa Akropong

Four young ladies have been caught and assaulted by residents after they were found stealing clothes from people’s drying lines at Wassa Akropong in the Western Region.

A video of the incident which has surfaced online shows the four ladies surrounded by community members following their community arrest.

In the footage, the suspects are seen being paraded before residents, who were questioning them about the thefts.

The young women appeared distressed in the video, with some crying and pleading for forgiveness from the enraged community members.

At one point, the ladies attempted to conceal their identities by covering their faces. However, residents insisted on uncovering their faces as the confrontation continued.

The incident has generated reactions on social media, with viewers expressing concern over the alleged theft as well as the manner in which the suspects were treated by residents.
