Former Vice President, and Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Atiku Abubakar, has called on the Federal and state governments to stop issuing condolences and instead make life affordable for Nigerians.
Atiku stated this in a statement on Wednesday, adding, that the tragedies befalling Nigerians daily demand more than condolences.
“As Nigeria approaches Independence Day, this tragedy demands more than condolences. We must make life affordable again and treat every Nigerian life as precious,” he said.
Atiku had earlier demanded a probe into the deaths of three people in the Niger stampede.
