According to sources, the group drove on three speedboats shooting and singing “Naija we no go gree.”
One of the sources asserted that the group was reacting to the launch of Operations Still Water 3 in Ikang, Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State by the Nigerian armed forces a few days ago.
Travellers have reportedly scampered for safety following the group’s angry move.
BnL has refused to openly align itself with the Black Marine and the Dragon Fighter Marine but the leader of the group, Princewill Richards said his group supports the activities of the militant groups.
The Nigerian and Cameroonian Governments have tried to hold up the Bakassi Peninsula from different militant groups following the ceding of the area in 2004.
