Operatives of the Maiduguri Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, 28th May 2024 arrested five suspected illegal Bureau de Change (BDC) operators in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The suspects were arrested in Borno State Hajj Camp, situated at Sir Kashim Ibrahim College of Education, Maiduguri.

Their arrest followed credible intelligence about their involvement in the sale of foreign currencies.
“They will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations,” the EFCC said in a statement.
