Yul Edochie Offers Advice to Nigerians Affected by 'Village People'

Actor Yul Edochie Takes a Jab at ‘Born Again’ Christians

Popular Nollywood actress Yul Edochie has taken to his social media account to call out people who claim to be born-again Christians but still have wickedness in their hearts.

The thespian, in a series of posts shared on his Instagram, said that some people forfeit wearing flashy clothes and makeup and even quit drinking and smoking but are still wicked.

He said that such people should stop deceiving themselves because God is not interested in the way one dresses but in how such a person treats his fellow humans.

‘‘Some people will tell you that they are now born again. They stop wearing flashy clothes, quit drinking and smoking. But the wickedness in their hearts remains untouched.

‘‘Stop deceiving yourself; God is not interested in your style of dressing or all that. He’s interested in how you treat your fellow humans. Being born-again means living a Christlike life.

‘‘And living a Christlike life means treating others with love and respect the same way you would want them to treat  you.” Yul Edochie wrote on his official Instagram page.
