The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the schedule for the upcoming U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), set to take place in Morocco from March 30 to April 19, 2025.
The tournament will be hosted across four stadiums in Casablanca, Mohammedia, and El Jadida, featuring 16 teams competing for the continental title and qualification spots for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
The competition kicks off on March 30, with Tanzania facing Zambia, while Burkina Faso takes on Cameroon in Group B at 5:00 p.m. Defending champions Senegal will start their title defense against Gambia on April 1, alongside a clash between Mali and Côte d’Ivoire.
Composition of the groups for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025 :
GROUP A: Morocco (host), Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia.
GROUP B: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, South Africa, Egypt.
GROUP C: Senegal, Gambia, Somalia, Tunisia.
GROUP D: Mali, Angola, Ivory Coast, Central African Republic.
