The Chadian government has created a technical committee for monitoring and evaluating performance, aimed at improving oversight of the implementation of the Head of State’s five-year political program.
Established by a decree signed by Prime Minister Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina on April 4, 2025, the initiative sets up a formal institutional framework to assess actions carried out by ministries and public institutions.
The committee, chaired by the Minister Secretary General of the Government, will:
Monitor and evaluate sectoral ministry actions
Develop and manage a dedicated digital platform
Submit monthly and quarterly performance reports to the Prime Minister
Made up of senior officials — including ministerial secretaries’ general and director’s general — the committee may consult with external experts as needed. Additionally, seven key figures have been appointed to bolster its work.
According to Article 6 of the decree, the committee’s operations will be funded through the national budget, with the option of financial and technical support from international partners.
