CALABAR — The Honourable Federal Commissioner representing Cross River State at the National Population Commission (NPC), Rt. Hon. Barr. In a goodwill message on Sunday, Barr. Ukam lauded Prof. Esu’s lifelong dedication to public service, education, and leadership, describing him as a man of vision and integrity who has worked tirelessly for the betterment of humanity.

“Prof. Esu is a true statesman whose legacy continues to inspire generations. From academia to governance, his contributions to Cross River State and the nation at large are enduring,” Ukam stated.

The Commissioner highlighted Prof. Esu’s distinguished career spanning roles as a professor, vice-chancellor, commissioner, minister, and eventually, deputy governor.
