The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday the former manager of P-Square, Jude Okoye, at the Lagos Special Offences Court, Ikeja, for allegedly stealing $1 million and £34, 537.
Jude, who is also the elder brother of Peter Okoye (aka Mr. P) and Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), was arraigned alongside his company, Northside Music Limited, on a four-count charge of theft.
In the charge marked Ref/99260/2025, EFCC alleged that Jude dishonestly converted the sum of $767,544 to his use.
The commission also alleged that sometime between 2016 and 2023, the defendant dishonestly converted the sum of £34,537, paid by Lex Records Limited for music digital distribution/ publishing royalties.
It said it was with intent to deprive the complainant, Okoye, of his special interest in the property.
The alleged offence, according to the EFCC, contravened Sections 278 and 285 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2011.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The EFCC counsel, Mr. Mohammed Bashir, had earlier asked the court to pick a trial date and remand the defendant at the correctional centre.
The lead counsel to the defendant, Mr. Clement Onwuenwunor (SAN), however, informed the court of a bail application dated January 27 and urged the court to grant his client bail.
Bashir also informed the court that the prosecution planned to file a response to the application.
He urged the court for a short adjournment date for the prosecution to file the counter affidavit to the bail application.
Justice Rahman Oshodi remanded Okoye at the Ikoyi Custodial Centre pending the hearing of his bail application.
He adjourned the case till March 6 for the hearing of the bail application.
