Former Cross River State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
This was disclosed in a resignation letter signed by him on 10th May 2024 and addressed to the Ward Chairman of PDP Adadama Council Ward, Adadama, Abi Local Government Area of the state.
Lebo didn’t give the reason for his resignation, however, the letter appreciated the PDP for giving him a platform which catapulted his political career.
“I wish to communicate my resignation as member of the Peoples Democratic Party at all levels.
“I appreciate the opportunity and platform offered me by the party in the last few years.
“I wish you the best,” the letter read.

CONVERSEER reports that Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo was the Speaker of the 8th Cross River State House of Assembly.
