Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has gifted a well-furnished house to a town crier, Mr Sunday Ufuo, in the state.
CONVERSEER learned that Ufuo, who weaved tears of joy with the sleeves of his shirt was gifted the house on Friday, 21st June 2024, in Udung Ukpong village in Okobo Local Government Area of the state.
The house is one of the units of the ARISE Compassionate Homes in the area.
Presenting documents to the fully furnished new home alongside five hundred thousand Naira (N500,000) business support fund to the Ufuo, the Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Waterways, Gen. Koko Essien, sued for continuous support of the people of the area to the ARISE Agenda.
The elated town crier of Udung Ukpong village appreciated the Governor’s magnanimity, describing his new reality as a massive turnaround and prayed for blessings on the State Chief Executive.
