Hardship: Cross River Lawmaker urges constituents to keep hope alive

The member representing Boki II State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hilary Bisong has urged his constituents to keep hope alive amidst the economic hardship troubling the nation.

Bisong who said there is light at the end of the tunnel, said he shared in pain the difficulty time being faced by all sundry.

The lawmaker, who is also the Chief Whip of the House disclosed this in a new month message signed by himself on 1 March 2024.

“It is indeed, another great opportunity, to welcome you to the third month of the year.

“Against the steaming atmospheric conditions, coupled with fluctuating economic fortunes, we made it together from the beginning of the year and still marching towards blissful moments.

“I must say that I share with us all in these trying times, just as I urge us all to keep faith alive.

“Certainly, there will be light at the end of the dark tunnel.

“This is Wishing us all, a productive, fruitful month of March, God’s blessings and protection.

“Let’s MARCH onward together!” – the new month message read.
