Kanye West and Bianca Censori Were Not Removed from the Grammys by Police, Contrary to Reports

Kanye West and Bianca Censori caused a stir on the Grammys red carpet, but contrary to reports claiming they were removed from the event, TMZ has confirmed this was not the case.

A source close to the Recording Academy who spoke to TMZ said Kanye was an invited guest as a nominee for Best Rap Song and left the event of his own accord. “He walked the red carpet, got in his car of his own volition, and then left,” the source stated, adding that neither police nor Grammys security were involved.

Law enforcement also confirmed no complaints were filed about Censori’s outfit, which turned heads as she wore a sheer top that left little to the imagination. Kanye and Bianca were spotted outside Crypto.com Arena on Sunday afternoon before making their brief appearance.

Kanye’s attendance at the Grammys marked his first since 2015, a surprising move given the backlash he faced for antisemitic remarks in 2022. Despite his controversial presence, he was surrounded by security personnel, although sources clarified they were not affiliated with the Recording Academy.

While some outlets reported the couple was asked to leave, this appears to be inaccurate. Kanye and Bianca seemingly opted not to stay for the rest of the event, despite drawing significant attention during their brief appearance.
