Al-Khums, Libya – Libyan police have arrested three undocumented Ghanaian and Nigerian nationals in Al-Khums, northwestern Libya, on allegations of breaking into a farm with intent to steal.
The arrest was made following a citizen’s report, according to Migrant Rescue Watch’s post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
The suspects, who reportedly remain in custody, await referral to public prosecution.
This incident follows another case in October, where Libyan authorities detained eight Nigerian nationals alongside a Libyan driver for allegedly attempting to smuggle undocumented migrants into the country.
The Nigerians, seven women and one man were found with forged Libyan documents during a routine police check in Brega.
