Calabar, Nigeria – The Commissioner of Police in Cross River State, CP Gryogon Augustine Grimah, has split the popular Anti Cultism and Kidnapping Squad (Dragon Squad) from a single unit into two.
Converseer reports Dragon Squad (Anti Cultism and Kidnapping) is now two entities of Anti-Cultism (De Hunters) led by CSP Obinna Ama with it operating office at Sattlite Town.
Similarly, the other unit to be simply known as Anti-Kidnapping (Dragon Squad) will be headed by SP Chukwuma Ogini will still operate from it base at the Cultural Centre.
The Anti-Cultism and Kidnapping Squad was splitted for administrative efficiency and enhanced performance.
The unit has been pivotal in fighting cultism and kidnap related crimes in Cross River State, keeping residents safe and secure.
