A popular liquor joint operator has slumped and d!ed in Oro town, an agrarian community in Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State.
The victim, identified as Orobola Akinduro, was reportedly seen earlier in the day, hale and hearty, attending to her customers.
A few hours later, she was said to have slumped while serving customers and was subsequently rushed to a traditional herbalist in Otasan community, a suburb near Ile-Oluji town in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government area of the state, for urgent medical attention.
She was later confirmed d3ad by the traditional doctor, after which her remains were evacuated by her family and deposited at the morgue of the Ondo State Specialist Hospital in Ondo town.
The community was thrown into deep mourning as news of the liquor joint operator’s death broke.
According to a source close to the family, who spoke to Ondo publication, Hope Newspaper, the late Orobola is believed to have died of cardiac arrest before being rushed out of the community.
The source added that the deceased will be buried as soon as funeral arrangements are concluded.
