Prophet Ebuka Obi reacts after being embroiled in a fake testimony scam (video)

Prophet Ebuka Obi of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach has reacted after a woman was exposed for giving a false testimony in his ministry that she bought a house worth N500 million.

Months after the woman gave the testimony in Ebuka Obi’s Zion Ministry, she was seen selling drinks in a small shop (see here).

This led Nigerians to accuse Ebuka of paying people to give false testimonies.

Members defended him, saying he did not know the lady was lying.

But social media users asked why he could not tell since he sees visions.

Reacting on Sunday, March 2,  Ebuka Obi denied any personal connection to the woman and accused her of lying against God and the church’s altar.

He added that it was revealed to him that his name will shake the media for something that appears to be real but is fake.

He said, “The only day He said to me, that my name will be on the media was on 4th of last month. Go and watch the programme. In the evening, I said it that media would be shaking, that it will be as if it’s real, but it’s fake.”

“We’re going to trace the girl,” he added.

He went on to claim that it is clergymen from the east that sponsored blogs to publish the stories about the false testimony in order to tarnish his image.

He said: “This is for Zion people, not for those that are paying some bloggers.

“I heard, the clergymen over there, that’s in the East there and here that sponsored the blogger. What are you doing blogger? Did I know her? Did any member know her?

“She came to testify, the way hundreds come to testify everyday.

“So, if indeed the house she says she got is fake, it is her that lied before God and His altar,  not the ministry.”
