High school students in Rome, as well as their teachers, have the chance to learn about the contemporary Greek language and culture, as the Mirsini Zorba Laboratory of Modern Greek Studies of Sapienza University of Rome is organizing cycles of free lessons in modern Greek language and culture aimed at teachers and students of Roman high schools.
The initiative aims to raise awareness among teachers and students of the timeless nature of the Greek language.
It also intends to create a network of collaboration with high schools that in the future may also extend to other types of collaboration involving Greek high schools (cultural projects, school trips, twinning between Greek and Italian schools, etc.).
Teachers interested in attending the lessons are requested to fill out this Google form by February 28.
For the classes of the students, the competent teacher is requested to contact Prof Christos Bintoudis at [email protected] or [email protected].
