Rovers FC’s Youngest Goalkeeper Clinton Ezekiel Keeps Clean Sheet On NNL Debut

Clinton Ezekiel, Rovers FC’s youngest goalkeeper on Sunday (19th November 2023) kept a clean sheet on his debut Nigeria National League, NNL match.

The match, CONVERSEER reports was between Rovers FC of Calabar vs Stormers Sports Club and was played at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar, Cross River State.

It was the first game of the 2023/2024 NNL season and Rovers won by a single goal.

“Our young goalie Clinton Ezekiel earns a clean sheet and a win on his first-ever debut in the Nigeria National League – NNL,” Rovers FC posted on its social media pages.

In a similar vein, Rover FC’s captain, Jerry Okon picked the Sportstlight Man Of The Match, MOTM award.

“Congratulations Jerry Okon who picked up today’s ‘Sportstlight’ Man Of The Match award following today’s 1-0 victory over Stormers Sports Club,” Rovers said.
